Our Mission

Delivering a fast and reliable Minecraft server without sacrificing openness and community-driven development.

Instead of using legally-dubious decompiled code, AI nonsense taken from god-knows-where or copying what Mojang did over a decade ago in the name of "parity", we take the hard route and build everything from the ground up using modern approaches, open source libraries and and our own scrutinized code. This allows us to push the boundaries of performance and reliability while maintaining a fully open and transparent development process that welcomes contributions from anyone in the community, ensuring that Temper MC is not just built for the community, but built by the community.

How it's built

ECS

Bevy ECS is used to enable massive parallelism and efficient data-oriented design.

LMDB

LMDB is used to store data on disk, powering fast, reliable and durable storage.

Tokio

Tokio is used for asynchronous networking, letting the server focus on running the world instead of waiting for network packets

Axum

Axum powers the web dashboard to serve a stylish and powerful way to manage the server remotely.
